THE ROLE

The primary objective of the Branch Operations Manager is to control and coordinate warehouse, hose assembly and distribution activities of our Brisbane QLD operation. Your role will be to ensure the efficient and economical utilisation of the facility for production, storing and distributing finished goods.

This is a permanent, full-time role based out of our modern and progressive Northgate branch. Interviews will take place over the next 7 days.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a performance driven environment to maximise the warehouse/hose assembly teams potential through mentoring and training
  • Plan and measure KPI’s and performance of the warehouse operations
  • Manage the receipt, storage and distribution of goods while maintaining accurate inventory levels
  • Coordination and planning of stock takes and cycle counts
  • Review and analyse inventory reports and surplus stock lists to improve inventory control and direct the implementation of corrective measures
  • Collect and interpret information on present and future distribution needs to plan warehousing and distribution programs
  • Develop distribution techniques and practices and review production and shipment records to determine conformity with shipping commitments
  • Evaluate shipping deadlines and take corrective action to eliminate behind-schedule conditions
  • Supervise the receiving and storing of merchandise and finished goods supplies

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • A minimum of 5+ years warehousing management experience
  • Experience with WMS / ERP systems is essential
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in leading teams
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
