About Auckland Explorer Bus:
In New Zealand, we operate an extensive range of sightseeing experiences such as the Auckland Explorer Bus. The Auckland Explorer Bus was founded in 1987 to give visitors an easy, enjoyable and informative “Hop On, Hop Off” tour of the city – and that’s what we are still doing today!
About the Role
As an Explorer Bus Sales Ambassador, you will play a key role at our street sales locations. While you won’t be leading a team, you will provide vital support to the Sales Ambassador Lead and your colleagues. Your role will involve selling bus passes, assisting with customer enquiries, and ensuring a high-quality experience for all our international guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales Ambassador Lead and team members in delivering excellent customer service.
- Greet tourists with a cheerful and welcoming attitude.
- Grow sales by promoting the unique features and benefits of our Explorer Bus tours.
- Accurately process sales, handle cash, collect vouchers, and process credit card transactions.
- Assist passengers with queries and provide solutions to any issues.
- Ensure safety for yourself, your colleagues, and all passengers at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain a calm demeanor, even in challenging situations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in sales and customer service, with a strong passion for helping people.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse tourists.
- Experience in cash handling, sales, and customer service.
- Efficient and accurate computer skills.
- A team player who enjoys working outdoors and interacting with people.
- A proactive and calm approach to managing challenges and resolving issues.
