If you are an experienced qualified Industrial Electrician with at least 2+ years of experience, then

Entec’s instrumentation and electrical business is growing at a stellar pace. The size of our team has
doubled in the last few years, but our workload is growing even quicker. We are looking for experienced tradespeople for onsite project work within our large I&E business. This role would best suit tradespeople with maintenance or construction experience.

Entec currently employs around 130 people working out of locations in Auckland, Taupo, New Plymouth, and operate nationwide.
The job we have on offer.
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Industrial Electrician.
This role will be based out of our Taupo facility, with the opportunity to work away at sites across the North Island.
As an experienced tradesperson you will need to demonstrate excellent workmanship, productivity and attention to detail in both your hands-on work and your documentation, with a high regard
for safe working practices.
You will also need to have initiative and the ability to self-manage your work.
As Entec runs a large apprentice programme your participation in training and mentoring is an expectation.
To be considered for this role you would need to hold or demonstrate:
• Working rights in New Zealand
• Recognised industry trade qualifications,
• Current, full EWRB NZ practising licence
• A minimum of two years’ relevant experience,
• The ability to interpret schematic drawings and understand and manage technical documentation.
• The ability to problem solve,
• Focus and attention to detail,
• Effective communication at all levels
• The ability to help create and work to, production schedules,
• A commitment to Entec’s Health, Safety and Quality culture, and
• To be willing to work as part of a dynamic team.
Current, EWRB NZ Hazardous Area
Endorsement and experience would be looked upon favourably.
Remuneration will be by way of
competitive hourly rate dependant on trade qualifications, relevant experience,
and any other skills you can bring to the business. Penal rates and other
allowances are also paid. The standard working week will be 40 hours, with
potential for overtime to be worked as well. The majority of work will be
centred around the Central North Island region, but you will need to be able to
commit to periods of working away from home.
