Pay Rate

Description

  • A relevant tertiary qualification, or comparable experience i.e. event management
  • At least five years’ experience leading complex, high-profile events (200+ attendees) from concept to completion, including logistics, budgets, suppliers, stakeholders, documentation and on-the-day delivery.
  • Commercial confidence across quotes, negotiation, contracts, invoices and supplier relationships, with an ability to balance value, quality and risk.
  • Experience working effectively with senior stakeholders, committees, volunteers, members, sponsors, exhibitors and external partners.
  • Ability to connect strategic purpose with detailed operational delivery and to lead through influence rather than formal authority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Strong plain English writing and editing skills, including event information, briefings and stakeholder communications.
  • Experience in using systems like Marketing Cloud, Monday.com, Arlo, Typeform, Survey Monkey, WIX and Salesforce would be advantageous.
