About the Role:

We are currently looking for an Insurance Specialist to come join our team in Wellington. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step towards becoming a Financial Adviser.

In this role, you’ll support our Insurance (Life, Disability & Health) Advisers to provide a high level of client support and administration, including:

  • Proactively engaging clients on their current insurance policies, providing factual information on available options, and escalating to a Financial Adviser when advice is required
  • Building strong relationships with clients and our insurance providers to provide an exceptional client service
  • Managing inbound and outbound calls to respond to client enquiries and proactively offer policy reviews
  • Handling policy servicing, including alterations, general updates, and arrears handling
  • Support Insurance Advisers with administrative tasks

What we’re looking for:

You’re an experienced administrator who knows your way around insurance products and processes. You’re confident speaking with clients, explaining options clearly, and building trusted relationships.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in insurance administration or client servicing (Life, Disability, Health Insurance preferred)
  • Communicates with warmth, empathy, and professionalism
  • Is proactive and confident in engaging clients about their insurance needs
  • Thrives on organisation and attention to detail
  • Works well independently but enjoys being part of a supportive team
  • Is looking to grow — perhaps with ambitions to move into an Adviser role in future
