This is a newly established role reporting to the Head of People and Capability, focused on driving adviser performance, capability and professional development across our national adviser network.
About the role
As Adviser Capability Manager, you’ll work closely with advisers and leaders to identify capability opportunities and deliver targeted coaching, learning and development initiatives that improve advice quality, customer outcomes and business performance.
Working closely with our QA team, you’ll use insights from Quality Assurance reviews, sales performance metrics and adviser feedback to shape and deliver a programme that supports adviser growth and ongoing development. You’ll also oversee our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) framework, ensuring advisers have the knowledge, skills and regulatory competence required to succeed. Alongside hands on coaching and development, you’ll play an important role in developing and implementing adviser tools, resources and frameworks that help advisers work more effectively and consistently.
While the role is listed as full-time, we are open to applications for candidates who wish to work part time (30hrs).
What you’ll be doing
- Coaching and supporting advisers to build confidence, capability and performance.
- Designing and delivering engaging learning and development programmes.
- Analysing QA insights, performance metrics and adviser feedback to identify capability opportunities.
- Owning and managing the adviser CPD programme.
- Developing adviser tools, resources and capability frameworks.
- Partnering with leaders, compliance, QA and Operations teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensuring advisers maintain the professional standards, knowledge and skills required within the financial advice environment.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in coaching, quality assurance or capability development.
- A passion for helping people learn, grow and succeed, through delivery learning and development initiatives.
- Strong coaching, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- The ability to identify trends, interpret performance data and translate insights into practical solutions.
- A sound understanding of the New Zealand financial advice environment and regulatory framework.
