We’re looking for a reliable Storeperson / Yardperson to join our Manufacturing Team in Port Whangārei. This is a key role supporting both stores operations and yard activity – ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in an organised workspace, and is keen to develop or expand their skills in loading trucks and operating lifting equipment.

In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our stores and yard areas, from receiving inwards goods to picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. You’ll also help keep the yard tidy, safe, and well-organised, and either operate or be trained to operate equipment such as forklifts and gantry cranes.

Key tasks include:

– Receiving, inspecting, and storing materials and components

– Picking, packing, wrapping, and preparing orders for dispatch

– Safely loading and unloading trucks

– Keeping inventory organised, secure, and easy to access

– Helping maintain a clean, tidy stores and yard environment

– Completing all required paperwork accurately

– Supporting stocktakes and stock rotation processes

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

– At least two years’ experience in a stores or yard environment

– Strong communication skills

– A commitment to safe work practices and good housekeeping

– The ability to work efficiently, accurately, and with minimal supervision

– A proactive, can-do attitude – you like keeping busy and staying organised

– Basic numerical ability and confidence using computers

Licenses and certifications

– A Full NZ Driver’s Licence is required

– Forklift (F Endorsement) is required, or be able to obtain one

– Gantry crane certification is desirable
