Description

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the employee experience and safety culture within a high-performing manufacturing environment. You’ll help create a workplace where people feel safe, supported, and empowered to do their best work every day.

As our Safety & People Coordinator, based at our manufacturing site, you’ll sit at the intersection of safety, people, and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with our leaders and teams across our manufacturing environment to help embed practical, fit-for-purpose safety practices, while also keeping our core people processes running smoothly and consistently.

This is a hands-on, varied role that blends coordination, administration, and problem-solving. From supporting safety systems and wellbeing initiatives, through to payroll inputs, onboarding, training coordination and apprentice support. You’ll have real visibility of how your work enables our teams to do their best work safely and confidently.

This role will be approximately 32 hours per week, offering flexibility, while still being a meaningful, impactful position within the business.

Above all, we’re looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through, and genuinely cares about people and how work gets done.

About You

You’re organised, proactive, and practical. You enjoy being close to the action and supporting leaders and teams in an operational environment. You take pride in accuracy, consistency, and doing what you say you will do.

You’ll likely bring:

– 2 – 3 years’ experience in a coordinator or administrative role (HR, Health & Safety, or similar)

– Exposure to health & safety processes and/or HR administration

– An understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015

– Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

– A high level of integrity and confidentiality
