The Opportunity

ContainerCo has an opportunity for a motivated Labourer to join our Ruakura depot team. Reporting to the Depot Manager, this role is responsible for cleaning, preparing and repairing shipping containers to ensure they meet IICL and customer standards.

You will be involved in container washing, basic repairs, preparing containers for export or hire, and general site duties to support daily operational requirements. This is a practical, hands-on, time restraint, role working outdoors in a busy container depot environment and suited to someone who is reasonably fit, enjoys physical strenuous work, takes pride in quality output, and works well as part of a team.

What you’ll Bring

  • A strong commitment to safety.
  • Previous labouring experience (preferred).
  • Experience using hand tools, particularly in sheet metal work (advantageous).
  • Experience working in a Port or Container Yard environment (preferred).
  • Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • Ideally you will hold an F endorsement and OSH certificate.
