We are seeking an exceptional Depot Operations Manager to join our Ruakura Depot in Hamilton.

The Opportunity Lead all aspects of the depot operation including, supervising staff, ensuring tasks are completed to the required standard. Assisting as required with duties in the Depot, including Quality Control, acting as MPI deputy operator, completing assessment of repairs, labouring and driving.

What you’ll Bring

  • Relevant qualifications in business or operations management (or related discipline preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the shipping or container industry preferred.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with people at all levels, and externally.
  • Experience and knowledge of health and safety legislation, and its application in the workplace.
  • Experience in use of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Visio, Access, PowerPoint Outlook).
  • OSH Forklift Certificate and Full Driver Licence.
  • MPI Accredited Person Training, Transitional Facility Operator Training and IICL Qualification preferred.
