The Opportunity

ContainerCo has an opportunity for an organised and customer-focused Depot Administrator to join our Napier depot team on a fixed-term basis covering maternity leave through to June 2027.

In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative and container control support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the depot. You will be responsible for accurate data entry, reporting, and maintaining container records, while delivering professional service to both internal teams and external customers.

You will act as key point of contact within the depot, supporting customer enquires, coordinating container movements, and assisting with maintenance and repair processing.

Working closely with the Depot Manager and wider team, you will play an important role in ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and excellent customer service standards are maintained.

This is a fast-paced role requiring strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

What you’ll Bring

  • Proven administrative experience, ideally within the shipping or logistics industry
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and responsive approach
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience with data entry and working across multiple systems
  • A good understanding of container control processes of a willingness to learn
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
