Coastal Medical Limited (CML) is a progressive, multi-site primary care organisation supporting communities across Taranaki. Our New Plymouth practice includes a specialist skin clinic focused on early detection and treatment of skin cancer. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our clinical team, supporting high-quality skin imaging and early detection within a primary care setting.

As a Registered Nurse Melanographer, you’ll play a key role in early detection, identifying suspicious lesions and supporting timely clinical review. This is meaningful, preventative work where your clinical skills make a real difference.

🩺 About the Role You will:

• Perform full body skin checks using dermoscopic imaging technology
• Capture and document high-quality images for clinical review
• Work closely with clinicians to support accurate assessment
• Educate patients on skin cancer prevention and early detection
• Provide a calm, professional and reassuring patient experience
• Deliver corporate workplace skin screening clinics across Taranaki

👩‍⚕️ About You

You will bring:

• Current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current APC
• Experience in melanography or dermoscopy (advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and clinical accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine interest in preventative health
• Confidence working independently
