Description

Our Opportunity

We are looking for a Load Planner to join our Warehouse team at the Champion Flour Milling Christchurch facility on a permanent full-time basis, where we manufacture flour, premixes, and specialty products.

This role operates Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 4.00 pm.

Reporting Lines

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Key Relationships:

o    Warehouse Team

o    Transport Carriers

o    Quality & Food Safety Team

o    Production Team

o    Customer Service Team

o    Team Leads

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and release daily customer orders to transport carriers
  • Organise daily dispatch schedules to meet customer requirements
  • Work closely with QA to ensure products are released on time
  • Pick customer orders and Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently when required
  • Operate Forklift and Reach Truck as part of the warehouse team supporting general warehouse operations
  • Load and unload containers
  • Complete cycle counts when required
  • Maintain accurate dispatch paperwork and system records
  • Communicate with customer service team, carriers, QA, and production teams
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in warehouse, dispatch, logistics, or load planning
  • Experience using D365 (preferred)
  • Strong Forklift experience
  • Experience loading and unloading containers and trucks
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable attendance and good work ethic
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
  • Good understanding of warehouse and dispatch operations
