Tyre Technician

Brendan Foot Supersite is a proudly family-owned and operated dealership, with over 50 years in business and a strong reputation across the Wellington region.

We are looking for an experienced Tyre Technician to join our busy Lower Hutt workshop.

This is a varied, hands-on role working across both our large range of stock and vehicles being prepared for sale our retail customers’ vehicles.

About the role

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Fitting, repairing and balancing tyres
• Carrying out wheel alignments
• Inspecting tyres and recommending replacements where required
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and safety
• Assisting with the preparation and movement of stock vehicles
• Picking up and dropping off vehicles when required
• Helping the wider team with other workshop tasks as needed

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience fitting and balancing tyres
• Is confident carrying out wheel alignments
• Takes pride in completing work accurately and efficiently
• Is reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
• Has a practical, flexible attitude and is happy to help wherever needed
• Holds a current full New Zealand driver licence
