Maintenance Manager | Uluru, NT

About the Role

Longitude 131° is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the upkeep of our luxury lodge, ensuring every space reflects the exceptional standards our guests expect, set against the iconic backdrop of Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park.

In this role, you will oversee all maintenance operations across the property, from guest suites and public areas to plant, equipment and grounds, leading a small team to ensure the lodge remains in pristine condition. You will work closely with the broader lodge leadership team, balancing proactive preventative maintenance with responsive problem solving in a remote environment.

This is a residential role based on Uluru, with accommodation and meals provided.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing the maintenance team
  • Managing preventative maintenance schedules and asset management
  • Overseeing repairs and maintenance across guest suites, public areas and back of house
  • Managing plant, equipment, pool and grounds maintenance
  • Coordinating with external contractors and suppliers, particularly given the remote location
  • Monitoring maintenance budgets and managing stock and parts inventory
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS standards and relevant regulations
  • Responding promptly to urgent maintenance issues, including after hours

About You

You are a passionate and experienced Maintenance Manager who takes pride in keeping a luxury property running smoothly.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager or senior maintenance role
  • Experience in a luxury hotel or lodge environment
  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including a rotating roster, weekends and on-call support
  • Current Australian working rights
