Estimator – Remote

About Aztech Buildings is a New Zealand-based steel building systems company on a strong growth trajectory. We design, manufacture, and deliver pre-engineered steel buildings across NZ — and we’ve built a talented remote team in the Philippines to help us do it well.

The Role We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Estimator to join our Sales team. This is a role supporting our New Zealand-based Sales Managers — you’ll be the engine behind our quoting, pricing, and sales admin, making sure every proposal goes out accurately and on time.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and managing quotes and proposals using our pricing system
• Processing variation orders with the Projects team
• Maintaining CRM (HubSpot) records — calls, notes, tasks, pipeline updates
• Supporting contract preparation and administration

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in estimating within the building and construction industry
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail — accuracy is non-negotiable in this role
• Proficient with estimating software and tools; CRM or ERP experience a bonus
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and able to pick up new systems quickly
• Excellent written English and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines across time zones
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• A continuous improvement mindset — always looking for a better way
