About the

This is a
great role for someone who loves coordination, stakeholder engagement, and
making things run smoothly behind the scenes.
As the NSW
Training Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting psychiatry training
across New South Wales including working with committees, trainees, training
networks, and external partners to help deliver the RANZCP Fellowship Program.
What
you’ll be doing
- Coordinating the NSW Branch Training Committee (scheduling
meetings, preparing papers, tracking actions)
- Acting as a key contact for trainees, members, and
stakeholders, providing guidance or connecting them with the right team
- Supporting trainee progression and ensuring training
requirements and standards are met
- Coordinating events like trainee orientations, workshops,
and mock exams
- Managing the annual trainee selection process from planning
through to outcomes
- Building strong relationships with key partners (including
Health Education and Training Institutes and training networks)
What
you’ll bring
- Experience in
administration, governance, education, or training coordination
- Confidence working with
committees and stakeholders across different levels
- Strong communication
skills — written, verbal, and everything in between
- The ability to juggle
multiple priorities and stay organised under pressure
- High attention to detail
and a proactive approach
- A collaborative mindset
and willingness to pitch in
Bonus
points if you’ve worked in medical education, membership organisations, or
similar environments.
