Are you a compassionate and skilled Enrolled Nurse looking for a flexible role where you can genuinely make a difference in the lives of older people?

Archer Care is seeking dedicated Casual Enrolled Nurses to join our clinical team. This role offers the flexibility to work across a variety of shifts while providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, including those living within our Memory Support Unit.

About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse at Archer, you will work alongside our Registered Nurses, Health Care Assistants, and wider multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional clinical care that promotes dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life.

You will contribute to resident assessments, care planning, medication administration, clinical documentation, and the coordination of care while maintaining a holistic, resident-focused approach.

This casual position is ideal for someone seeking flexibility while remaining part of a supportive and highly respected aged care team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred nursing care.
  • Assess, monitor, and report changes in residents’ health status.
  • Administer medications and manage clinical documentation.
  • Develop, review, and evaluate resident care plans.
  • Support and guide Health Care Assistants during shifts.
  • Participate in clinical handovers, GP rounds, and multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Promote resident independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
  • Provide culturally safe care that recognises and respects diversity.
  • Support residents living with dementia and complex care needs.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, infection prevention, and health and safety initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current NZ Enrolled Nurse Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • InterRAI training or willingness to complete training.
  • Excellent clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • A strong commitment to person-centred aged care.
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in aged residential care or dementia care is highly desirable.
