Description

Aotea Plumbing and Drainage is a well-established plumbing,gas and drainage company.  We deliver high-quality service and project works cross residential and commercial sites. 

As our company is continuing to grow, we are expanding our Christchurch based team.

In the role of Trade Project and Service Co-Ordinator, you will be a key part of our Operational Team. 

You will work closely with our Operations and Commercial Manager and be a pivotal link between them, our customers and trade staff

You will coordinate day-to-service jobs while supporting the delivery of larger plumbing projects.

We are looking for a can-do attitude; you will have good attention to detail and have agility to efficiently support our day-to-day operations as they unfold.     

The key responsibilities of this role are:

  • Scheduling and dispatching tradesman for service and project work (approx. 20 tradesman)
  • Job management support.  Tracking job progress from start to completion, ensuring deadlines are achieved.
  • Supporting our team to effectively manage Health and Safety processes, including accurate and timely on-the-job documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Assisting with materials procurement and liaising with suppliers.
  • Preparing and issuing customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide support for project planning, time and materials management.
  • A key contact for communication between our customers, suppliers and internal teams
  • Supporting Head Office Management with administration tasks as required

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills. The ideal applicant is someone who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, whilst ensuring a high quality of work is maintained at all times
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
  • Good computer skills.  Experience in job management systems is an advantage.
  • Understanding or willingness to learn and champion Health and Safety requirements.
  • You will require a positive attitude and team-focused mindset.
  • Industry knowledge is advantageous but not necessary – you’re attitude and proven ability to learn will be taken into account
