Aotea Plumbing & Drainage is seeking a NZ Qualified Plumber/Drainlayer to join our Canterbury team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, communicates well with customers, and enjoys being part of a supportive team that values quality, safety, and professionalism.

About the Role

As part of our Christchurch branch, you’ll be involved in a variety of plumbing, drainage and gas fitting work across residential, commercial, and maintenance projects. You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople and have the opportunity to develop your skills while delivering high-quality outcomes for our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Plumbing, drainage and gasfitting work across a range of projects
• Diagnosing and solving all plumbing-related issues
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship in line with NZ regulations and industry best practice
• Communicating professionally with customers, suppliers, and team members
• Recording job information accurately using company systems
• Following all company and health and safety policies at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Current New Zealand Plumbing & Drainlaying registration
• Current PGDB registration and relevant trade qualifications
• Full Class 1 driver’s licence
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
