About the Opportunity
AMV Group is undergoing a significant technology transformation – consolidating our platforms, building a connected and scalable digital ecosystem, and growing the internal capability to sustain and evolve our technology long-term. To deliver this transformation with integrity and speed, we need someone who can own the technical solution end-to-end.
The Solutions Specialist is a brand new role, purpose-built to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery. You will be the definitive owner of solution scoping, configuration oversight, and technical design integrity across all our transformation programmes – operating in an agile team environment and working directly with our Enterprise Architect, delivery engineers, and Business Analyst.
This is a hybrid technical-functional role: you don’t just define what needs to be built, you ensure it gets built right.
What You’ll Do
- Translate business requirements (from the BA and stakeholders) into scalable, cohesive solution architecture
- Lead configuration discussions across our ERP and eCommerce platforms – ensuring solutions are pragmatic, maintainable, and aligned to our architectural principles
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect to ensure all solutions align with our cross-platform integration strategy and architectural standards
- Ensure integration alignment across platforms – owning the connective tissue between ERP, eCommerce, and third-party systems
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver successful implementation
- Produce clear, structured solution design documentation that engineering teams can confidently act on
- Support go-live readiness – assessing solution stability and ensuring the team is prepared for each release
- Operate within agile sprint cycles, contributing to planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Strong ERP configuration expertise – enterprise ERP platform experience highly valued
- Solid understanding of API design, system integration patterns, and middleware concepts
- A genuine technical-functional hybrid: comfortable deep in configuration decisions and equally comfortable presenting solutions to business stakeholders
- Cross-platform systems thinking – you naturally consider downstream impacts and integration consequences
- Experience successfully collaborating with engineers or developers
- Strong problem-solving ability – you find elegant, maintainable solutions to complex requirements
- Agile delivery experience – you know how to work iteratively and adapt as requirements evolve
