About The Role

The Retail Area Manager will oversee 12 to 15 stores across New Zealand on a 16 week call cycle. Bringing exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills, you will coach store managers to build performance, streamline daily processes, and embed a customer-centric focus across all touchpoints.

Who You Are

You’re a commercially-minded retail leader who combines passion with strong business acumen. You’re motivated by the success of your team, thrive on autonomy, lead with authenticity, and know how to build cultures that bring out the best in people.

You’ll Also Bring:

• FMCG experience: 5-10 years within FMCG, leading high performing and fast moving teams
• Vaping Expertise: Product knowledge spanning both pod systems and advanced mod devices (preferred but not required).
• Analytical Sharpness: Strong attention to detail with proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and experience formatting P&Ls.
• Proven Impact: A history of driving retail growth, backed by clear metrics and practical strategies.
• Strategic Autonomy: Exceptional time-management skills and the drive to self-motivate and run your territory effectively.
• Empowering Leadership: A solid, engaging leadership style that shapes positive culture and elevates team performance.
