Description

AMV Group is one of Australasia’s largest and fastest-growing vaping and nicotine-replacement products businesses,  and behind every product that reaches our 5,500+ retail outlets across New Zealand and Australia is a warehouse team that makes it happen.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, operationally focused Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to take ownership of stock accuracy and ensure our retail network remains fully supplied.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on well-organised systems, takes pride in accuracy, and enjoys seeing processes run smoothly. You’ll be hands-on in managing inventory, maintaining data integrity, and supporting day-to-day operations to keep stock flowing efficiently across the business.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Distribution Manager, you’ll be at the centre of our inventory operations, ensuring our retail network remains well-stocked and running smoothly. From coordinating stock movement between the warehouse and stores to maintaining inventory accuracy, you’ll make sure every detail is accounted for.

Day to day, you can expect to:

  • Manage stock allocation and transfers to ensure stores have the right products at the right time.
  • Take ownership of inventory accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and co-lead stocktakes alongside the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Coordinate stock movements across warehouses, stores, and business entities.
  • Act as the main contact for stores regarding stock, returns, samples, and marketing materials.
  • Partner with the Supply & Demand team to prioritise inventory and meet customer demand.
  • Identify and implement improvements to inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Provide hands-on warehouse support when required, including picking, packing, and receiving stock.
  • Actively work towards and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a stock control or inventory-focused role
  • Strong proficiency using ERP/WMS systems
  • Background in a high-volume consumable goods environment
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, meet strict deadlines, and manage competing priorities under pressure
  • A collaborative, hands-on mindset – someone who doesn’t see floor work as beneath them

Why AMV Group?

We’re a high-growth business with real momentum. Operating at scale across two countries, with the infrastructure, brands, and leadership to back it up. You’ll have genuine ownership of a critical function, a team around you, and room to grow as the business does.

If you’re detail-obsessed, operationally sharp, and ready to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
