We are looking for a commercially savvy BDM & Project Manager who thrives at the intersection of winning work and delivering it successfully.

This is not a traditional role as you will own the full lifecycle: from spotting opportunities and closing deals, through to leading complex project delivery and building long-term client partnerships.

This role suits someone who can confidently lead both business development and project delivery.

What you’ll be doing

Business Development & Growth

  • Develop compelling proposals (scope, approach, pricing)
  • Drive revenue growth and consistently hit targets
  • Strengthen market presence through networking, content, and thought leadership
  • Grow existing accounts through upsell and long-term partnerships

Project Delivery

  • Lead complex projects end-to-end
  • Own scope, timelines, risks, and delivery outcomes
  • Manage stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard
  • Communicate clearly and keep clients confident throughout

Client Ownership

  • Be the trusted advisor from first conversation to final delivery
  • Ensure seamless handover from sales to execution
  • Build strong, lasting relationships that drive repeat business

PMO Alignment

  • Deliver in line with PMO standards and governance
  • Collaborate closely with the PMO Director
  • Feed insights back into improving services and delivery capability

What success looks like

  • Strong pipeline and consistent revenue growth
  • High conversion rates and successful deal closure
  • Projects delivered successfully (time, scope, budget, quality)
  • High levels of client satisfaction and ongoing engagement

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in business development AND project management
  • Track record delivering complex business or system projects
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance sales and delivery
  • Ability to turn client needs into practical, outcome-driven solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall Methodology.
  • High quality verbal and written communication with the ability to interact with stakeholders at any level.
  • Good understanding of change management principles, techniques and tools.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • PMP, Agile, PMI-ACP certification or similar is an advantage.
  • Experience in MS project and/or other PPM tools is preferable.
  • Tertiary qualified, preferably in a business, finance or IT related discipline or equivalent experience with 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role.

What we offer:

  • Work with like-minded and supportive people
  • Hybrid working arrangements
