This full-time position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of our Queanbeyan East branch. You will be a first point of contact for customer and subcontractor enquiries via phone, email and in person, helping deliver a seamless and high-quality customer experience.

Working closely with warehouse staff, subcontractors, transport providers and the wider Operations team, you will coordinate bookings, track stock movements, process payments and maintain accurate records.

This is a fast-paced role where priorities can change quickly, so you’ll need to be organised, adaptable and confident communicating with a wide range of people.

About You

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes ownership and thrives in a busy environment.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Previous experience in customer service, administration or a similar role.
  • A proactive attitude and genuine willingness to learn and develop.

  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and changing requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new software systems.
  • Practical problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused approach.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.

Previous experience within hire, construction, logistics or a related industry will be highly regarded but isn’t essential, as full training will be provided.

If you come from a call centre or customer-focused background, we strongly encourage you to apply. Experience handling high call volumes, resolving customer enquiries and managing competing priorities is highly transferable to this role.

The Perks

  • Competitive remuneration package.
  • Career progression opportunities within a growing national organisation.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Opportunity to work from home up to two days per week following successful completion of probation.
  • A varied role where no two days are exactly the same.
