Full-time and Part-time positions available

Yumba-Meta Ltd (YML) is growing, and we are looking for passionate people to join our Case Management team. We have a number of full-time and part-time opportunities available across our community services programs.

Depending on your qualifications, experience and demonstrated capability, successful applicants may be appointed as either a Case Worker (SCHADS Level 4) or Case Manager (SCHADS Level 5).

About Yumba-Meta Ltd

We are a First Nations-led organisation delivering housing and community services that empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and other vulnerable individuals and families to achieve safety, stability and independence. We provide culturally safe, person-centred services across a broad range of programs including long-term housing, transitional and crisis accommodation, specialist domestic and family violence programs, public intoxication services, patient transition accommodation, mentoring and other community-based initiatives.

About the role

As a member of our Case Management team, you will work alongside individuals and families experiencing complex social challenges, providing practical support, advocacy and case management to help them achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.

Working within our programs, you will build trusted relationships with clients, undertake assessments, develop support plans, coordinate referrals, advocate for client needs and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, culturally safe services.

You will bring strong communication and relationship-building skills, the ability to exercise sound judgement, and a collaborative approach to working with clients, colleagues and partner organisations.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in community services or a related field.
  • Current C Class Driver Licence.
  • Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain).
  • National Police Check.
  • Right to work in Australia.
