The Little Social is Youth Projects’ social enterprise café. Alongside serving great coffee and food, our cafés create opportunities for young people to gain practical experience, develop workplace skills and take meaningful steps towards employment.
We’re looking for entry level hospitality staff with high energy and great customer service/interpersonal skills. If this sounds like you, apply today!
This role is based across multiple locations, such as: Footscray hospital, Wyndham law Courts, Port Melbourne and other inner city locations
What you’ll be doing
- Making and serving coffee and other drinks
- Taking customer orders and using a point-of-sale system
- Preparing and serving food
- Providing friendly customer service
- Keeping café and service areas clean and organised
- Working as part of a busy and supportive team
- Building the confidence and skills needed for future employment
About you
This could be a great fit if you:
- Are interested in hospitality, cafés or customer service
- Enjoy meeting and helping different people
- Are reliable, willing to learn and ready to have a go
- Can work well in a team and move between different tasks
- Want to build practical skills and real workplace experience
Hospitality or barista experience may be helpful for some opportunities, but you do not need to have everything figured out before expressing your interest.
