About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Person to join our team, working autonomously on heavy earthmoving equipment across remote sites in the greater Perth region in Western Australia. In this hands on role you will carry out servicing on a modern fleet of mobile plant in the field, often working alone and unsupervised, ensuring our equipment stays safe, reliable and production ready. The role will be based out of our modern workshop facility in Cardup.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following minimum requirements:

Experience and Licenses

  • Significant demonstrated experience in the servicing and preventative maintenance of a range of heavy earthmoving equipment.
  • Construction induction card (White Card).
  • Current manual HR licence
  • Ability to pass a pre employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

Technical Experience

  • Proven experience in servicing earthmoving/mobile mining equipment (e.g. excavators, loaders, trucks).
  • Strong diagnostics and fault finding skills on diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical systems would be an advantage.
  • Experience in field service work on remote civil or mining sites.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance and inspections in the field.

Other

  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised, manage your own workload and prioritise critical tasks.
  • Strong commitment to safety, following procedures and completing JHAs/SWMS.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with site supervisors, operators and schedulers.
  • High level of workmanship, attention to detail and pride in maintaining equipment reliability.
  • Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s license.
