Forklift Driver

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our logistics team in Sydney. This temporary, casual role is essential for ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our distribution centre. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of safety and productivity, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to move, locate, and stack products within the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and containers.
• Conduct regular safety checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist in inventory management by keeping accurate records of stock movements.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift licence and certification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to forklift operation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
