What’s the Role?

Position: Transport Superintendent

Location: DIDO – Based at our Roma depot

As part of our team, the Transport Superintendent is the primary contact for all transport related activities in Roma and the Surat Basin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule transport operations including rig and camp moves, stores, and deliveries
• Coordinate drivers’ workloads and monitor driver fatigue in accordance with NHVR and Chain of Responsibility regulations
• Assist, train and mentor drivers in loading, load restraint, general maintenance, and transport operations
• Promote safety as a priority and ensure compliance with Wild Desert and client policies and procedures
• Conduct equipment inspections and follow the work order process to facilitate repairs

What You’ll Need:

• A current MC (Multi-Combination) Licence
• The ability to communicate with drivers and demonstrate strong leadership skills
• Working knowledge of OHS, NHVAS and NHVR legislation
• Ability to pass an Austroads medical (including drug & alcohol screening)
