At Well Life Services, we are committed to delivering exceptional, person-centred support that empowers young people living with disability to live meaningful, connected and fulfilling lives. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced, values-driven Team Leaders to oversee the daily operations of residential care hubs in the Darling Downs region.

About the Role

The Team Leader is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of multiple residential sites, ensuring services are delivered safely, professionally and in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements.

You will provide hands-on leadership to frontline staff, oversee quality service delivery, support the implementation of individual care plans and contribute to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

This role combines direct operational leadership with coaching, compliance oversight and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders.

About You

You are a Team Leader, Youth Worker or Residential Care professional with experience supporting individuals with complex care needs. 

You remain calm under pressure, communicate confidently and are passionate about helping young people reach their potential.

Skills & Knowledge

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience working within community, disability, youth residential care or child protection.
  • Previous experience leading, training or supervising staff.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities within a dynamic environment.
  • High levels of professionalism, integrity and accountability.

 

Essential Requirements

Will hold and maintain:

  • Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, Social Work or a related discipline.
  • Current Blue Card
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
