Summary:

The Head of Allied Health will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the allied health services within our organisation in Toowoomba, Queensland. This position is crucial for ensuring the delivery of high-quality health and safety services, promoting best practices, and enhancing patient outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, and fostering a collaborative environment that prioritises patient care and professional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the allied health team, ensuring effective service delivery and adherence to organisational standards.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance allied health services and improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure integrated care and support for patients.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of allied health services, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for allied health staff.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and best practice guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in allied health or a related field.
  • Significant experience in a leadership role within the health sector, preferably in allied health.
