About the role

The Albion Hotel is seeking an experienced and motivated Casual Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality food.

You will work alongside a supportive kitchen team in a busy hospitality venue, contributing to the preparation and service of quality pub-style meals.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present meals to a high standard.
  • Manage your section efficiently during service.
  • Maintain excellent food quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Assist with stock control, prep, and kitchen organisation.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team.
  • Support smooth service during busy periods.

About you

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
  • Able to work under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and well presented.
  • Positive attitude and team-focused approach.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Relevant culinary qualifications are preferred but not essential.
