Housekeeper

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team in Buller, Western Australia. This temporary, casual role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our hospitality environment, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in upholding our high standards of hygiene and presentation, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are kept clean and tidy
• Change bed linens and replenish towels and toiletries as required
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Assist with laundry duties as needed
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications:

• No formal education required; however, a basic understanding of cleaning techniques is preferred
• Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is an advantage but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition
