At Vitalis Healthcare at Home, we believe that everyone deserves to live with
independence, dignity, and joy in the place they love most, their own home.
We are a leading, Australian-owned and operated provider of in-home care and support. Our mission is simple yet profound: to enable older Australians and people living with disability to thrive in their communities by providing exceptional, personalised care that feels less like a service and more like an extension of family.
Your Role & Impact:
You will be the heart of our service, providing essential personal and domestic
support to clients in their own homes around Manly, Seaforth, North Sydney, Drummoyne and
surrounding areas. Your day will be varied and meaningful, focused on promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.
Key responsibilities will include:
-
Personal Care: Providing respectful assistance with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, and mobility.
-
Domestic Support: Helping to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment through light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
-
Companionship & Social Support: Building positive relationships through conversation, shared activities, and community access.
-
Client Wellbeing: Supporting medication prompts, accompanying clients to appointments, and monitoring any changes in their condition.
-
Professional Documentation: Accurately completing shift notes and care records in our digital system.
About You:
We are looking for people with the right attitude and heart. Formal experience
is valuable, but a genuine passion for care is essential.
-
Essential: A current Australian Driver’s Licence and your own reliable, insured vehicle.
-
Essential: A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one) and a First Aid & CPR certificate.
-
Essential: The right to work in Australia.
-
Highly Regarded: A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or similar) or equivalent experience.
-
You embody: Empathy, patience, reliability, and exceptional communication skills. You understand the importance of professional boundaries and client confidentiality.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us:
We support you, so you can focus on supporting our clients. We offer:
Meaningful Work: See the direct positive impact of your efforts.
Flexible Hours: We work with you to build a roster that balances your life and our clients’ needs.
Investment in You: We provide comprehensive induction, ongoing training, and professional development opportunities.
