Description

Vital Chemical is seeking a highly motivated Receptionist to join our growing team at our Seventeen-Mile Rocks facility.

You will be the face and voice of the business, providing exceptional customer service while supporting the day-to-day administration and facilities needs of the office. This varied role combines front-of-house responsibilities with administrative and operational support, helping to ensure the workplace runs smoothly and efficiently.

This is a permanent part-time role, ideally working Monday to Friday, 8am to 1pm. These school-friendly hours provide an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a rewarding role that offers consistency and flexibility around other commitments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing a professional and welcoming experience.
  • Coordinate visitor sign-in and sign-out processes.
  • Manage incoming calls, direct enquiries and relay messages promptly.
  • Monitor the enquiries inbox and ensure requests are actioned or forwarded as appropriate.
  • Receive, sort and distribute mail and courier deliveries.
  • Maintain office supplies and stationery stock levels, placing orders as required.
  • Coordinate grocery, kitchen and office consumable orders to ensure facilities remain well stocked and presentable.
  • Support the presentation and upkeep of office facilities, meeting rooms and communal areas.
  • Organise meeting logistics, including room bookings, catering and meeting setup.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and projects to support business operations.

About You:

  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
  • Professional and welcoming demeanor.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office and computer skills.
  • Experience in similar role advantageous however not essential.
  • Valid drivers licence.
  • Willing to obtain police check, licence history record and undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
