Description

The Senior Project Officer – Workforce plays a key role in VACYPA’s efforts to build a strong, culturally capable workforce across its member ACCOs. Recognising that a skilled and culturally grounded workforce is essential to delivering quality services for Aboriginal children and families, this position focuses on creating sustainable education-to-employment pathways, strengthening ACCO engagement in the Community and Social Services Graduate Program, and building the higher education sector’s understanding of what it means to work within an ACCO.

The role works directly with VACYPA’s member ACCOs, regional tertiary education providers, and sector stakeholders to advance workforce development outcomes that are community-led, culturally safe, and aligned with VACYPA’s mission to see all Aboriginal children and young people thrive and be raised safely in Aboriginal families and communities.
