Want to own the network infrastructure fabric for Australia’s only sovereign hyperscale cloud?

We are looking for a Network Engineering Lead to join our Technology Team as a remote, offshore leader based in the Philippines. This is not a standard maintenance or support role. You will act as the technical thought leader and engineering manager, guiding a team of Network Engineers to design, build, and automate high-performance cloud networks. Every single network outcome you deliver will be version-controlled, automated code.If you are a seasoned Network Specialist looking to transition your deep hands-on expertise into high-impact Technical Leadership, this is your next move.

What you’ll do: 

• Lead & Mentor: Manage a team of high-performing network engineers, fostering a collaborative, values-driven culture.
• Enforce Code Standards: Govern technical designs and enforce strict standards through mandatory infrastructure peer-code reviews.
• Drive Automation: Build core cloud solutions and run fast-paced Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) for emerging tech.
• Optimise Agile Delivery: Deconstruct complex network initiatives into epics, provide estimations, and align sprints with broader release trains.
• Govern Deliverables: Monitor squad resources against SLAs/SLOs, dynamically allocating talent across product frameworks.

To be successful you will be able to demonstrate the following: 

• Expert IaC Automation: Strong, hands-on experience deploying robust network and firewall solutions using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
• Core Networking Mastery: Advanced knowledge of datacenter fabrics (EVPN/VXLAN, Cumulus Linux, SONiC), ISP routing (OSPF/BGP), and enterprise firewalls (Fortigate).
• Proven background designing and deploying hybrid or private cloud infrastructure
• Background building, mentoring, or leading engineering squads with strong systems thinking (SDLC frameworks).
• Location Requirement: Must be currently living and working in the Philippines.
