Trade Assistant – Automotive Painter | Kenwick, WA

We are seeking a motivated Trade Assistant – Automotive Painter to join our team in Kenwick. This is a hands-on role supporting the preparation, finishing and presentation of transport equipment within our busy paint department. About the Role

Working alongside our experienced paint and production teams, you will help prepare and finish transport equipment while ensuring work areas remain safe, clean and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, cleaning, masking and general preparation
• Assist with the finishing and presentation of components and transport equipment
• Support paint booth preparation, set-up and pack-down
• Load, wrap and prepare completed products for movement through production
• Assist with material handling and movement of components throughout the workshop
• Maintain housekeeping within paint booths, work areas and paint storage facilities
• Support production teams with general workshop duties as required
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience in an automotive, industrial or manufacturing environment
• Take pride in producing high-quality work
• Have a strong attention to detail
• Be reliable, motivated and safety focused
• Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team
• Hold a current Forklift Licence
• Hold a current Driver’s Licence
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
