Description

Uplyft is seeking a proactive and organised Administration Officer who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and supporting inclusive outcomes for children through the effective administration of the Inclusion Support Program (ISP) with Inclusion Support West and the Specialist Equipment Library.  

Inclusion Support West is a partnership between One Tree Community Services and Uplyft delivering the Inclusion Support Program across Western Australia. Together, we support Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) services to build inclusive environments where all children can access, participate and thrive.

  • Fixed Term part time position until 30/06/2028 (22.5 hours per week)

About the role

The Administration Officer provides efficient, confidential, and customer-focused administrative support to the Inclusion Support Program (ISP), contributing to the effective delivery of the Specialist Equipment Library and broader program operations.

Key responsibilities include maintaining equipment library records and databases, coordinating equipment requests, returns, maintenance and hygiene processes, and managing enquiries from Early Childhood Education and Care services through the Customer Management System. The role requires clear and professional communication, strong organisational skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Administration Officer contributes to a collaborative, solution-focused environment that supports inclusive outcomes for children, families, and educators.

About you

To be successful in this role your will bring

  • Previous administration experience, including experience maintaining records, databases, or cataloging systems.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality customer service and building positive stakeholder relationships.
  • Well-developed general office administration skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer literacy, including experience using Microsoft Office applications and maintaining databases or information systems.
  • Proven organisational and time management skills, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workplace requirements.
