About the Opportunity 

We are seeking experienced Senior Ecologists to join our growing Perth team. Whether your expertise is in fauna ecology or botany, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside some of Australia’s most respected ecological specialists, delivering diverse and technically complex projects across Western Australia.  

You will play a key role in planning and delivering ecological assessments, leading field programs, preparing high quality technical reports and providing trusted advice to clients across a range of sectors. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior staff, contribute to business growth and further develop your technical and leadership capabilities.

About You: 

We’re interested in speaking with experienced ecologists who bring a combination of technical expertise, project delivery skills and a passion for achieving positive environmental outcomes. 

You will have: 

• A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Botany, Zoology or a related discipline 
• Demonstrated experience in ecological consulting, environmental assessments and field survey programs 
• Strong experience in either: Fauna ecology, including fauna survey design, wildlife assessment and monitoring; or Flora/botany, including vegetation mapping, flora surveys and botanical assessments 
• Experience interpreting ecological and spatial data and applying findings to project outcomes 
• Strong technical report writing and communication skills 
• The ability to build trusted relationships with clients, regulators and project teams 
• Knowledge of Western Australian environmental legislation and approval processes (highly regarded) 
• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving 
• Willingness to travel and undertake fieldwork when required
