About the Role

As the Workshop Supervisor, you’ll be the senior TRUCK TECH representative onsite, responsible for leading day-to-day workshop operations while ensuring the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of maintenance and repair services.

You’ll work closely with our Fleet Services, Service Coordinators, Parts and People & Culture teams to maximise fleet uptime, deliver exceptional customer service and build a high-performing workshop culture.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of Heavy Vehicle Technicians
  • Planning daily workshop operations and allocating work efficiently
  • Supporting diagnostics, repairs and technical problem solving
  • Ensuring all work meets TRUCK TECH quality and safety standards
  • Managing customer relationships and providing regular operational updates
  • Driving workshop productivity, efficiency and performance
  • Coaching and developing technicians to achieve their full potential
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with WHS requirements
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and performance management of workshop staff
  • Working collaboratively with internal departments to deliver outstanding customer outcomes

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  • Extensive heavy vehicle maintenance and diagnostic experience
  • Volvo experience desirable
  • Previous leadership experience as a Leading Hand, Supervisor or Senior Technician (preferred)
  • Strong communication and people leadership skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • HR Licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement
