Join the Sparkways Team – Casual Educators | Richmond, Showgrounds & Footscray

We’re currently looking for passionate Casual Early Childhood Educators to join our teams across three of our Early Learning Centres in Melbourne’s innor suburbs.

Whether you’re looking for flexibility, variety across different services, or the opportunity to join a supportive team on a casual basis, we’d love to hear from you!

Rates of Pay

  • Casual Educators: Up to $47.67 per hour, depending on qualification and experience

About Our Centres

  • Sparkways Early Learning Richmond

Our Richmond service provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where children are supported to learn, grow and develop through play and meaningful relationships.

  • Sparkways Early Learning Showgrounds

Located in the historic Government Pavilion Building within Showgrounds Village Precinct, our modern centre offers beautiful indoor and outdoor learning spaces for children from six weeks to school age.

Located within Billy Button Children’s Centre, our well-established, community-focused service provides a warm and inclusive environment for children from six weeks to school age.

What We’re Looking For

  • Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Experience working in an Early Childhood setting
  • Baby Room experience highly regarded
  • Sound understanding of the NQF, NQS and EYLF
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, professional and proactive approach
  • Genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
  • Flexibility and willingness to work across different rooms and/or services is highly regarded
