About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor with strong capability across employee relations, workplace relations and employment law. You’ll partner closely with HR and leaders to provide practical advice on performance, conduct, grievances, investigations and complex people matters.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide specialist advice on employee and workplace relations matters
  • Manage performance, conduct, grievances, complaints and terminations
  • Lead and support workplace investigations
  • Provide guidance on the Fair Work Act, NES and modern awards
  • Monitor legislative changes and translate them into business updates
  • Strengthen HR policies, procedures and employment documentation
  • Coach managers through sensitive people matters
  • Support performance management, engagement and retention initiatives
  • Identify employment related risks and escalate appropriately
  • Collaborate across teams on people initiatives and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in HR, employee relations or workplace relations
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work Act, NES and awards
  • Hands on experience with investigations, grievances and performance matters
  • Strong judgement, discretion and professionalism
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work in a fast moving environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience in employment law or workplace relations
  • Experience in aged care, home care, disability or other regulated sectors
  • Familiarity with Aged Care, Home Care or SCHADS Awards
