Recruitment Consultant

Hybrid Role | 11:30 – 20:00 | 66k – 70k + commissions

As part of Tradewind Australia’s Education team, you will become the trusted point of contact for our community of teachers. You will interview educators, build lasting relationships, coordinate daily bookings and work closely with the team to ensure every placement is the right fit.

No two days are the same. One minute you’ll be interviewing a new graduate teacher, the next you will be solving a same-day staffing request or helping a long-term teacher find their next opportunity. You will work alongside experienced Recruitment Consultants, Business Development Managers and Compliance Specialists, giving you exposure to the entire recruitment lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll become the trusted partner for both teachers and schools by:

  • Interviewing and onboarding teachers
  • Building long-term relationships with educators
  • Managing daily and emergency school bookings
  • Matching teachers with schools based on experience and culture fit
  • Growing and maintaining a loyal candidate community
  • Managing candidate communication throughout their recruitment journey
  • Working closely with internal consultants to maximise bookings and utilisation
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and candidate pipelines

Who we’re looking for

This role suits someone who enjoys speaking with people, thrives in a fast paced environment and isn’t afraid of picking up the phone.

You might come from: Recruitment, Retail leadership, Hospitality management, Customer service, Business development, Call centre sales, Door-to-door sales, or Education sector.
