Summary:

The Invoicer plays a crucial role in the utilities sector, ensuring accurate and timely billing for services rendered. This position is essential for maintaining customer satisfaction and financial integrity within the organisation. The Invoicer will work closely with various departments to streamline invoicing processes and resolve any discrepancies, contributing to the overall efficiency of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner.
  • Verify billing data and ensure accuracy of invoices.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all invoicing activities.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and billing issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of invoicing procedures.
  • Monitor payment status and follow up on overdue accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in invoicing or accounts receivable, preferably in the utilities sector.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
