Due to continued growth, Bowie Grooming & Dog Daycare is looking for an experienced Doggy Daycare Supervisor (2IC) to join our passionate team.
This is an opportunity to support in leading a premium canine care facility where every pup is treated like family. Working closely with the Bowie Manager, you’ll help oversee the day-to-day operations of the daycare, support and develop the team, and ensure every dog receives exceptional care in a safe, engaging and enriching environment.

The Opportunity
As our Doggy Daycare Supervisor (2IC), you’ll play an integral role in supporting the Bowie Manager with the daily operation of Bowie while helping to create an exceptional experience for both our canine guests and their owners.
You’ll lead by example, foster a positive team culture and ensure the highest standards of animal welfare, safety and customer service are maintained every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Manager with the day-to-day operation of Bowie Grooming & Dog Daycare
- Lead the team on the floor and confidently oversee operations in the Manager’s absence
- Assist with onboarding, training and ongoing development of team members
- Ensure exceptional standards of dog welfare, safety, cleanliness and operational excellence
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with clients
- Help create a fun, positive and engaging environment for every dog in our care
- Maintain high presentation standards across the facility
About You
You’ll be someone who genuinely loves working with dogs, enjoys leading people and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous leadership, supervisory or team leader experience
- Experience working within a dog daycare, grooming salon or animal care environment
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive attitude with the confidence to lead by example
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and enrichment
- The flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends when required
