About the role
As a Telecommunications Technician at Titan ICT Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting our clients radio telecommunication systems which includes repeaters, mobiles and handheld radios. Based out of our Osborne Park facility this full-time
position will see you work closely with our client and engineering teams on n 8 and 6 roster to ensure reliable and efficient communication services for our clients.
What you’ll be doing
- Performing installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication equipment, including
repeaters, mobiles, handheld radios, microwave and PVT LTE infrastructure
- Fault-finding, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of the communications networks.
- Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on telecommunication systems
- Programming Digital Radios and Repeaters.
- Documenting work performed and maintaining detailed records of all telecommunication assets
- Providing technical support and training to end-users as required
- Collaborating with the IT and engineering teams to implement new telecommunication technologies and solutions
What we’re looking for:
- Demonstrated expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of digital Radio, RF, MW, LTE telecommunications equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise with clients and colleagues
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to client sites on an 8 and 6 roster
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol screens and a police check
- Australian work rights
- Current drivers licence
