We’re looking for a motivated Assistant Finance Officer to join our Finance team and gain hands-on experience across accounts payable, commission payments, online banking and process improvement initiatives.

About the Role

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to develop their finance and accounting skills within a supportive, high-performing team.

Working closely with our Finance Officers, you’ll play an important role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of financial transactions across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with obtaining invoice approvals and processing invoices
  • Maintain accurate records within the accounting system
  • Support online banking payment processes
  • Assist with commission payment calculations and processing
  • Help develop and document new finance processes, including credit card procedures
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline finance administration tasks
  • Provide general support to the Finance team as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who is curious, organised and ready to learn.

You’ll bring:

  • At least 12 months’ experience in a finance administration or office-based finance role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership
  • A genuine interest in building a career in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A continuous improvement mindset and eagerness to learn
