At Thermotek, we manufacture premium uPVC windows and doors, and none of it leaves the building unless the warehouse is humming. That’s where you come in. We’re after a hands-on Logistics / Warehouse Team Leader who leads from the floor, not the office chair, and who genuinely loves a tidy dock, accurate stock, and a production line that never goes hungry.
This isn’t a “tick the boxes and clock off” gig. We want someone who brings solutions, not problems. The type who spots a better way to lay out a bay or stage a pick and just makes it happen.
What you’ll own
You’re the heartbeat of the supply chain here, from the moment goods land to the moment finished product rolls out the door:
- Receiving goods and checking everything’s spot on
- Putting stock away properly (future you will thank present you)
- Feeding the production lines so they never miss a beat
- Keeping stock accuracy and integrity tight, with cycle counts, FIFO and no surprises
- Getting dispatch out the door complete, on time, and damage-free
- Leading and developing your team member, and growing the function as we do
What makes you a cracking fit
- A GREAT attitude. You bring good energy and people want to work with you
- A genuine continuous improvement mindset. “We’ve always done it this way” makes you twitch
- Current forklift licence (LF), essential
- Warehouse or logistics experience, ideally in manufacturing
- Sharp eye for detail, strong organisation, comfortable with inventory systems
- Happy on your feet and hands-on all day
